WHEN
I GET TO HEAVEN
By Tracy Nix
When
I get to Heaven
I will be by His Son
The One who saved me a place
So
that I could see His face
I
have said it over and over
Even on days I was playing with my dog, Rover
Yes,
God I am ready
And thanked Him for holding me steady
For so many years
For
wiping away my tears
For giving me the
chance to help someone
Because of circumstances in their life that were done
Because
of loved ones they may have lost
I also gave my time, no matter what the cost
Some
days I just feel like writing
Never feel like fighting
The Holy Spirit intercedes
in my thoughts at night
I am writing right here, right now, in His sight
To
add names of people to my web site
Who now have Jesus in their sight
And
allows me to write words of comfort to those
That are too far away for me to
take and hold
When I get
to Heaven I will see
Those from earth whose Spirit has left before me
You
can take away the flesh they say
But the Spirit lives on - another day
Around
us when God sends His Angels to comfort us
I can feel the presence of the One
- Jesus
I feel the presence of my Grandmother from time to time close to me
Urging
me to help those who are hurting, just to see
How that when we get to Heaven
things will be
Just like the Lord promised to you and me
Just
the sound of His name
Changes the promise I have in Him
My comfort, my shelter,
regardless of fame
I shout to the earth the sound of His name
When
I get to Heaven
His power, His majesty, His Son
These things I will be allowed
to see
While waiting for you to come and be with me
No,
don't cry for me now
Jesus is caring for me - Trust me, He knows how
All
of my needs are being cared for
And I will be waiting to see you more
Since
I've been through the tunnel of lights once already
For 15 years, God has been
able to hold me steady
My wife reminded me yesterday that I wasn't suppose
to live more than a year
After my brain surgery in 1992, BUT -- I'm still here
- my dear!
God's work
is unfinished, you know
Where He sends me, I will go
Where He leads me,
I will never say no
When I get to Heaven, my Spirit will never again suffer
any low
Your suffering and pain because
I am gone
Is felt, but don't let it last too long
Celebrate my life with
you on earth that was just a speck
Of time in eternity .. So what the heck!
Think
of the days we will be together again with Jesus
We can travel again together,
just us
Roam the universe and soar like an eagle from town to town
As Angels
for Jesus, providing comfort, removing frowns
I
can't wait until the day
When I get to Heaven and get to lay
My head next
to the One who is waiting for me
He is the One I have been anxious to see
Again
since we talked in 1992
Maybe some day, He will talk to you!
Listen
for the wind to blow through your hair
Watch for the leaves to blow on the
trees
God in Heaven, the one who is fair
God
in Heaven, the who who sees
And watches your every move, every day
Some
day He will call...
Will you be there?
I
will run to the cleft of the mountain and wait for you
Will you come and meet
with me?
I will wait in the cleft of the mountain for you to pass by
Will
you come and be with me?
What
a joy it will be just for a moment to lay at the feet of the Lord
Oh more than
anything, that's what I long for
Oh what a change it would be just to look
deep into the face of the king
Who gave all, who gave everything so you could
meet with me
Will you meet with me?
